book 3 - an intelligent society

An Intelligent Society

This book is born from a double reflection on recent history: why do we continue killing ourselves? (Israel-Palestine, Russia-Ukraine-Sudan, Rwanda wars...) And why, if we already know the models of society that work and those that do not work, do we insist on applying the wrong methods and models?

How important is power and its good or bad use in the direction of a society?

This is a book that deals with the progress of societies and good governance. To try to answer these questions, we have asked ourselves, as the title of the book says: can an intelligent society become like we do when classifying an individual?

An Intelligent Society

We think so; A person is intelligent when they have the ability to analyze reality accurately, when they are able to imagine creative solutions to respond to problems, when they put these solutions into practice and when they are flexible and adapt to changes.

Likewise, a society can be called "intelligent" when it has the ability to learn from its history, know how to adapt to changes, and be able to solve the complex problems of its citizens.

An Intelligent Society

Through an analysis of the main elements that constitute a society such as its history, politics, economy, the welfare state, technology, culture and values; The author shows us which societies have best resolved the complexity of their organization, what qualities and capabilities they have demonstrated throughout their history, until they are considered "intelligent societies."

Our intention in writing this book has been to help the reader understand how some countries have resolved in a more efficient way the common problems represented by any human group such as poverty, ignorance, inequality, dogmatism, hatred and fear, which are the greatest impediments and the worst brakes to achieving a reasonable state of well-being, justice and happiness for its citizens.

An Intelligent Society

Although the objective may seem too ambitious, history, that is, what man and some societies have done, show us that the solutions to problems and the adaptation to the changes that they have demonstrated in their future, allow us to be reasonably optimistic to hope that the goal that we citizens desire can be achieved in the future.

I hope I have been able to contribute with these pages to contribute my small grain of sand to achieve a slightly better world. Luck.
